Manufacturing Process Engineer

Serbia (Ruma), India (Chennai, Gujarat)

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

1. Assist in formulating, maintaining, and optimizing production processes to improve product quality, production efficiency, and cost control. Support the design and enhancement of production line layouts.
2. Support the development and validation of new product processes, ensuring smooth integration into the production line. Assist in creating and updating process standards such as SOPs, process sheets, and quality control plans.
3. Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining production line equipment, ensuring compliance with basic process requirements. Analyze and report on process-related production issues, providing fundamental technical support.
4. Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping) to support process improvement projects.
5. Under guidance, help create and maintain technical documentation related to processes, such as process flow diagrams, BOMs, and production versions.
6. Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Equipment teams to assist in implementing process improvements.
7. Participate in daily technical support tasks, handling predefined simple issues and providing assistance.
8. Support senior engineers in developing technical solutions and executing relevant strategies.
9. Execute existing technical strategies and plans with the support of team members.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Some background in injection molding machines preferred.
3. Proficiency in English for professional communication.
